Meet the Cast: Nick Puga “Diego Diaz”
May 10
Where were you born and raised?
I’m a Venezuelan born Chilean who was raised in Miami. Wait, no, yeah, that’s right.
How did you get involved with “After the Wedding”?
Claudia hit me up on the “face” and was all “Yo, you wanna audish for my indie masterpiece?” and I was all “Fo sheezy, my ‘tina.” And then she was all “Then go put yourself on tape and show me some skills, papo.” And then I was all “OK, OK! CALMÁTION, por favor! Let me read it!” Read it, loved it, sent in my tape and won the part.
As an actor, how do you prepare for a role?
Same way I make breakfast. I get my veggies out, chop ‘em up, put ‘em on low heat, add some pepper, put in the egg whites, toast some whole wheat bread, bring out a little bit of fruit and wash it all down with a tall glass of water.
Why should people support “After the Wedding”?
Regret of not supporting may eat you up inside for years to come. Also, my nipples will be showcased for the first time. Holla!
What are you looking forward to most about making this movie in July?
Getting my hands on some world-famous, mouth-watering, Miriam cooked empanadas (featured in the Empanada Delight Package). Duh.
